Opened just this past March, this intimate new favorite in the Lake Highlands neighborhood is gathering accolades by the armful. Consider its appearance on such Lists as Resy’s “Top 10 in Dallas,” Southern Living’s “35 Best Restaurants in Dallas,” Dallas Magazine’s “Best New Restaurants,” and Dallas Observer’s “Top 100 Restaurants.” It’s the newest creation from restaurateur Brandon Hays, who gave Big D the popular Sfuzzi and High Fives, and he has put the kitchen in the gifted hands of Executive Chef Matthew Perry, who honed his craft at Dallas favorites like Billy Can Can, The Porch, Alice, and Neighborhood Services. At Goldie’s, his menu includes deeply satisfying dishes like bone marrow bruschetta, coconut shrimp, crispy cod cutlet, porkchop with German potatoes and pancetta, and braised beef egg noodles with roasted carrots and pickled shitakes. “A cozy gem that is everything a bistro should be,” raves Dallas Observer.
