About

Opened this past July in Centennial Hills, this Mexican cocina is an NPR “Neighborhood Restaurant of the Year” Award-Winner and was named to Eater’s List of “16 Las Vegas Restaurants That Are Too Beautiful to Miss.” Conceived by longtime culinary and hospitality veterans Nathan Grates, Anthony Jamison, and Chase Gordon – the team behind the iconic Sand Dollar Lounge and The Sand Dollar Downtown – this new eatery is in the hands of Executive Chef Lalo Saavedra, who has spent more than two decades with Charlie Palmer Steak on the Las Vegas Strip. At La Casa de Juliette, Chef Saavedra, a native of Mexico, is turning out dishes that represent the vast range of Mexican culinary influences. Here, diners delight in such fare as mixed ceviche, pollo asado (achiote-glazed whole boneless roasted chicken), hueso de chupacarba (roasted bone marrow, carne asada, and pickled onions), and hongos y nopales (mushrooms with grilled cactus and salsa verde). As to the setting, Eater extols the “Tullum-inspired furnishings and airy, coastal feeling.” Naturally, we are primed to visit.
