Any Day Now
5-Course Inventive Americana Tasting Event
Debuting just this past June, this casual and comforting all-day restaurant in Navy Yard from celebrated chef and veteran restaurateur Tim Ma and hosting Chef de Cuisine/Partner Matt Sperber, a Momofuku alum, immediately vaulted onto Washington Post restaurant reviewer Tom Sietsema’s “6 Favorite Restaurants of 2023” List. “Any Day Now shines from morning to night,” Sietsema wrote. Tim Ma’s ventures have included Lucky Danger, American Son in the Eaton DC hotel, Shaw’s Kyirisan, and Water & Wall in Arlington. Here, at Any Day Now, he and Chef Sperber are delighting diners with dishes like honey walnut calamari with charred broccoli and Thai basil, eggplant katsu, spare ribs with plum guava bbq, and kimchi spatzle with braised beef, daikon, parmesan, and basil. “Your answer to basically every dining situation,” is how Infatuation describes Any Day Now, so…let’s do dinner!
