5-Course Pan-Latin Cocina Tasting Event
This Henderson eatery opened in November of 2021 and has become a neighborhood fixture ever since. Eater immediately named it to that year’s “Where LV Food Writers Love to Dine" List. Since then, Thrillist gave it a spot on its 2023 list of “Best Restaurants in LV,” and Eater named it one of their "38 Essential LV Restaurants in 2024. Chef/Owner Steve Kestler was born in Guatemala City and earned his stripes cooking at such Vegas restaurants as José Andres’ Bazaar Meats, Bouchon, where he was the Chef de Partie, and EDO Tapas, where he served as Executive Sous Chef. At Aroma, where he has earned a 2024 James Beard "Best Chef: SW" Finalist nod, he is focusing on Latin comfort foods, like short ribs with mole and roasted sweet potatoes, seared scallops with potato salad and cherries cascabel oil, pork belly and fried avocado tacos, and a Guatemalan enchilada with pickled beets, greens, cojita, and hard-boiled egg. “The food is incredible,” raves Desert Companion. “What Kestler is doing is as exciting as any new concept on or off the Strip.” We’re excited to visit and hear from Chef Kestler about the culinary influences he brings into his food from his native Guatemala as well as neighboring Mexico, Venezuela, and Peru.

Born and raised in Guatemala City, Chef Steve Kestler’s culinary career began at the ACG (Guatemalan Culinary Academy) where he graduated with honors. After immigrating to the US in 2011, he honed his craft at such Vegas institutions as José Andres’ Bazaar Meats and EDO Tapas.

- The ticket price covers the full cost of the meal.

- Yes. All attendees must be 21+ to gain entry.

- Yep! For this event, guest tickets are $85 + tax & tip, and you can bring up to 3 guests. Please note, guests are not allowed to attend unaccompanied by a member.
- What is the event ticket cancellation/refund policy?
- Restaurants purchase the food for our events 14 days before the event date, at which point we are on the hook for the cost of your ticket. As such, we are not able to offer refunds (or credits towards future events) for any cancellation requests submitted within 14 days of the event date. We will, however, issue full refunds for all cancellation requests submitted at least 14 days before the event date. All cancellation requests must be submitted via email to [email protected].
