Artisans
5-Course Eclectic French Tasting Event
Originally opened in 2012 and now, as of this past January, the official occupant of a dazzling new space in the Galleria area, this exceptional eatery is listed on this year’s Eater List of “18 Standout French Restaurants in Houston” and was honored as a “Best of the Best” French Restaurant Winner by Houston Chronicle. Executive Chef Erik Cruz has worked closely for five years with Artisans’ founding chef, the renowned Jacques Fox. Now, in the restaurant’s spectacular open kitchen, Chef Cruz is turning out classic French dishes like escargots, beef tartare, onion soup, bouillabaisse, tarte tatin, and so much more. Artisans is, in fact, an absolute glorification of what is indisputably one of the world’s great, if not greatest, cuisines. “The food at Artisans is beautiful,” says Infatuation, and so we are so looking forward to our visit here, and to chatting with Chef Cruz about how he puts his own special touch on these time-honored recipes. Join us!
