Broussard's
5-Course French-Creole Fine-Dining Tasting Event
A New Orleans institution since 1920, Broussard’s has hardly rested on its laurels. It has kept everything current and up to date, so much so that Eater named it to three of its recent Lists: “Best Creole in NOLA,” “Must-Try NOLA,” and “Iconic French Quarter Dining Experiences.” Executive Chef Jimi Setchim builds on the French-Creole cooking traditions of founding chef Joseph Broussard.“It’s an honor to work in a kitchen with so much history and culture,” says Chef Setchim, who came to Broussard’s after building a lengthy resume as Executive Sous Chef at Tommy’s Cuisine, NOSH, and Tomas Bistro. Diners relish famed dishes like Cajun caviar with roasted banana blini, duck & alligator sausage gumbo, bronzed redfish, and unforgettable desserts like brûléed banana éclair and English toffee bread pudding. A million-dollar renovation just shy of ten years ago put Broussard’s into tiptop shape, as evidenced by its plush interior with chandeliers and white tablecloth. All in all, an experience we look forward to sharing with you!
