5-Course Ocean's Bounty Tasting Event
Having opened in 2017, this seafood destination in Uptown held on through the pandemic and now surely qualifies as a Charlotte institution. Featured on Wine Enthusiast’s “50 Best Restaurants in America” 2022 list, Thrillist’s “Best Charlotte Restaurants” List of that same year, and, this year, Eater’s “18 Essential Charlotte Restaurants” list, Fin & Fino offers diners sustainably caught or raised fish and shellfish delivered daily and prepared with seasonal ingredients sourced from nearby farms. Executive Chef Jonathan Cox, a Charlotte native, earned his stripes at a Two-Michelin-Starred restaurant in Italy and then served as Executive Chef at the popular Dogwood. At Fin & Fino, he is turning out exceptional dishes, like scallops and latke (that’s a potato pancake, just so you know), lobster and truffle pasta, grilled tuna with sorrel pesto, and more. Keep in mind, however, that the menu (like the ocean) changes with the tides, so there is always something new to discover. Charlotte Magazine’s restaurant reviewer said that on the way out “we find ourselves making a list of all the people we want to bring with us on our next visit to Fin & Fino.” Count us in!

Executive Chef
Born and raised in New York, Chef Jonathan Cox graduated from SUNY Delhi in 2017 with a BA in Culinary Arts Management. After honing his craft at a Two-Michelin-Starred restaurant in Italy, he journeyed across Europe before returning to the US. He previously cooked in the kitchens of Rare Roots and Dogwood before joining the Fin & Fino team.

- Yes. All attendees must be 21+ to gain entry.

- No. This restaurant is a non-BYO establishment. Outside alcohol will not be permitted at this event.
- Can I bring guests/non-members to this event?
- Yep! For this event, guest tickets are $85 + tax & tip, and you can bring up to 3 guests. Please note, guests are not allowed to attend unaccompanied by a member.
- What is the event ticket cancellation/refund policy?
- Restaurants purchase the food for our events 14 days before the event date, at which point we are on the hook for the cost of your ticket. As such, we are not able to offer refunds (or credits towards future events) for any cancellation requests submitted within 14 days of the event date. We will, however, issue full refunds for all cancellation requests submitted at least 14 days before the event date. All cancellation requests must be submitted via email to [email protected].
