Hed 11
5-Course Thai Opulence Tasting Event
Opened this past May, this exceptional eatery in Japantown’s Kimpton Hotel Enso vaulted right onto several “Best Of” lists, including Eater's "11 Thrilling Thai Restaurants in San Francisco" and “Hottest in SF” and San Francisco Chronicle’s list of “11 Most Exciting Restaurants in the Bay Area.” Executive Chef "Saint" Piriya Boonprasarn, a native of Thailand with a distinguished background honed in the kitchens of such Michelin-Starred Bangkok establishments such as Saawaan and Bo.lan, embraces a traditional Thai menu while reaching out as well to explore seafood and the flavors of Southern Thailand. Sweet and savory are blended throughout, whether in bites like a coconut pancake with lime and caviar, a take on khanom jeen sao nam with seared scallop paired with chilled rice noodles, tangy pineapple, and garlic, or even a Thai-style cheesecake with crispy fried onions and passionfruit syrup. If you love Thai food, and who doesn’t, then Hed 11 is the place for you, offering dishes that are reputedly even hard to find in Bangkok!
