Laurel
Day 1: 5-Course Seasonal Sophistication Tasting Series
A true veteran of today’s volatile restaurant scene, having opened in 2013, this East Passyunk eatery has maintained its high standards, having appeared on Philadelphia Inquirer’s 2023 List of “Top 10 Best Restaurants” and New York Times’ 2024 List of “Best Restaurants in Philly.” Chef de Cuisine Kevin McWilliams, who will be presiding over our event, has an impressive cooking background in the kitchens of Rising Star chefs such as Matt Harper, Randy Rucker, and Nick Elmi, Laurel’s founding chef. Here, Chef McWilliams is working with a menu of French and American fare, turning out dishes like monkfish with turnips, sorrel, and vermouth, pork au poivre with quince, pumpkin risotto with pepitas and pickled spruce, and lush desserts like corn mousse with blackberries and cherry sorbet with chocolate cremeux. “The magic of dining at one of the city’s best restaurants, like a once-in-a-lifetime story, can only be understood by experiencing it,” raves Infatuation, so let’s experience it together. We look forward to seeing you there!
