Little Blackbird

Day 1: 5-Course Old World Inspired Tasting Series

Opened precisely one year ago, this gem is the latest in the restaurant empire of Rammy Award-Winning restaurateur Ashok Bajaj—he of Bombay Club, Rashika, and Sababa. Little Blackbird, which puts a modern twist on centuries-old techniques for good dishes and dram, hopped right onto Resy's "Hit List" upon opening and drummed up buzz from the likes of Eater and Washingtonian. Executive Chef Ryan Moore, who cut his teeth at 2-Michelin-Starred minibar (under James Beard Award-Winning Chef José Andrés), is now using his considerable culinary chops to turn out such delectable "old world" fare as ratatouille, hearth roasted bronzino, coq au vin blanc, and ricotta gnudi. Best save room, too, for one of the luscious desserts, like single malt butterscotch pudding or peach melba. It all adds up to a special night out, so we look forward to seeing you there and discovering Little Blackbird together!

Ryan Moore

Executive Chef

A graduate of L'Académie de Cuisine, Chef Ryan Moore began his culinary career as a sous chef at Zola before being tapped by José Andrés to be part of his team at James Beard Nominated minibar. Over the next five years, Moore delved into molecular cooking and assisted with the opening for The Bazaar by José Andrés. He then honed his craft at Zaytinya, Rogue 24, and Ris before being tapped by Ashok Bajaj to spearhead SABABA and Little Blackbird.

No tickets are needed.
What does the ticket price cover?
The ticket price covers the full cost of the meal.

At this event the chef will provide substitutions for critical food allergies/dietary restrictions but will not make menu adjustments based on food preferences (e.g distaste for specific ingredients/flavor profiles). Do guests need to be of a certain age to attend this event?
Yes. All attendees must be 21+ to gain entry.
Does this restaurant allow BYOB?
No. This restaurant is a non-BYO establishment. Outside alcohol will not be permitted at this event.
What is the event ticket cancellation/refund policy?
Restaurants purchase the food for our events 14 days before the event date, at which point we are on the hook for the cost of your ticket. As such, we are not able to offer refunds (or credits towards future events) for any cancellation requests submitted within 14 days of the event date. We will, however, issue full refunds for all cancellation requests submitted at least 14 days before the event date. All cancellation requests must be submitted via email to [email protected].

Can I bring guests/non-members to this event?
Yep! For this event, guest tickets are $95 + tax & tip, and you can bring up to 3 guests. Please note, guests are not allowed to attend unaccompanied by a member.
