Little Fish
DAY 5: 6-Course Ocean's Bounty Dinner Series
Though established in the 1990s, this popular seafood restaurant in Queen Village underwent a reboot in 2017 when new owner/chef Alexander Yoon took it over. Returning to Philadelphia, his hometown, after stints working at the three Michelin-starred Benu in San Francisco and Mirazur on the French Riviera, Chef Yoon is turning out memorable dishes flavored with Asian influences. Philadelphia Magazine named this pocket-sized eatery the “Best Seafood Restaurant” in 2018, and just this fall, Eater named Little Fish as one of its “38 Essential Restaurants.” The menu changes all the time, but inventive dishes like shima aji with pickled rhubarb, peas, and vinaigrette or hamachi, avocado, puffed wild rice, and kombu oil are the norm. We will be taking over Little Fish for the evening, and Chef Yoon will be on hand to answers your questions and share his fish lore.
