5-Course Nouveau Greek Tasting Event
Opened just this past April, the Greek restaurant in Devonshire hopped right onto Eater’s List of “Most Anticipated Openings in Dallas” and Paper City’s “Biggest Dallas Openings” List. This is the newest creation from Tom and Lisa Georgalis, owners of popular Love Field. Here, diners find classic Greek dishes cooked to a fine turn, like dolmas, spanakopita, and moussaka, as well as inventive ones like day boat scallops with fennel puree, Granny Smith apple, and orange butter sauce and gemista, a roasted pepper and tomato stuffed with Greek-seasoned rice and beef. Leave room as well for the baklava with toasted pistachio and pistachio ice cream, or perhaps the olive oil chocolate cake? This is soul-satisfying food, prepared with the freshest seasonal ingredients. “An exciting new Greek restaurant serving authentic family recipes,” says Culture Map, so naturally we are primed to visit here and to hear more about a cuisine that always manages to satisfy.
