Palate
5-Course Culinary Canvas Tasting Event
Opened just this May, this sophisticated eatery showcases local art along with locally sourced food - a combo launching it right onto Eater’s June List of “Hottest New LV Restaurants.” Chef Sterling Buckley, a Los Angeles native who has been seen on Chopped, has previously helmed the kitchens at restaurants like La Cave at The Wynn and Honey Salt in Summerlin. At Palate, his inventive menu features dishes like soy-charred short ribs, longganisa sliders made with sweet Filipino sausage, beef tartare, scallops & grits, and “Southern hospitality” (fried chicken, smoked mac, roasted carrots, biscuits, and jam). Make sure to leave room for the luscious desserts as well, such as quince and date cobbler or the showstopping Hummingbird (sugar nest, banana bread, candied pecans, cinnamon ice cream, and pineapple flowers). We are excited to discover Palate—and to please our own palates there. See you there!
