Teddy's

5-Course Ode to the Southwest Tasting Event

Opened this past November, this Southwestern-inspired eatery in Rosedale immediately jumped onto Eater’s list of “Hottest in Austin.” Chef Daniel Berg, who gave ATX the popular seafood restaurant Bill’s Oyster, spent years working under James Beard Award-Winning chef Andrew Carmellini at Michelin-starred and three-starred New York Times restaurant A Voce. He also spent a year working in Italy under Chef Massimo Montaro at the two-Michelin-starred restaurant Principe Cerami. Chef Berg would go on to work for Chef Daniel Boloud at his flagship 3-Star Michelin and 4-Star New York Times flagship restaurant, Daniel, as well as Eric Ripert’s Le Bernardin. At Teddy’s, he is offering up superlative versions of tried and true favorites, from tuna ceviche to lump crab tostadas to wild mushroom quesadilla to ancho chili salmon with black bean puree and much more. The Infatuation salutes Teddy’s “wide selection of crowd pleasers,” so we’ll provide the crowd, and they’ll provide the pleasers. Sounds like a deal!
