This was a collaboration full of firsts for us. Shockingly, it was our first event series at a French restaurant. And, it was our first trip to Bushwick. To put it simply, Chef Catherine Allswang showed us what we've been missing out on! Her 30+ years of professional experience cooking French cuisine came through in every course, and we have an entirely new appreciation for BUTTER. Below are the 3 top courses from each event as rated by attendees on their feedback cards:

 

DAY 1

1st Place: Sunchoke & Ricotta Raviole - house made with cauliflower puree and fried leeks

2nd Place: Roasted Winter Vegetable Medley - with lentils, parsnip chips, and shaved parmesan

3rd Place: Green Sauce Pepper Duck - with potatoes in duck fat, caramelized turnips, and braised red cabbage

 

DAY 2

1st Place: Sunchoke & Ricotta Raviole - house made with cauliflower puree and fried leeks

2nd Place: Tuna Crudo - with ma-la oil 

3rd Place: Green Sauce Pepper Duck - with potatoes in duck fat, caramelized turnips, and braised red cabbage
