With a massive snowstorm in the forecast, Day 1 of our first-ever Boston event series almost didn't happen. But, mother nature understood the importance of the evening and the snow didn't start falling until the next morning. And, based on all the post-event feedback that's been pouring in, it's a really good thing the storm held off. Chef Cyrille Couet and his powerhouse crew kicked off our Boston event calendar with a HUGE bang, and we can't wait to see what the Batifol team has in store for us with Day 2 and Day 3! Incredible food aside, Chef Couet regaled attendees with stories of his upbringing in France and his passion for food was evident. From a culinary standpoint, below are the top three courses, as rated by guests on their feedback cards:

 

1st Place: Boeuf Bourguignon, with mashed potatoes, braised carrot, mushroom, red wine sauce


2nd Place: Pan Seared Atlantic Red Perch, with butternut squash & rosemary risotto, beetroot vinaigrette


3rd Place: Beet Cured Salmon Crudo, with ginger vinaigrette, braised beets, ikura
